Antiplatelet Therapy:
  • {{c2::Aspirin}} 162 mg to 325 mg - should be chewed by pts who have not taken aspirin before presentation with STEMI (Class I)
  • Daily dose of {{c2::75-162 mg}} aspirin indefinitely after Stemi (Class I)
  • A loading dose of a {{c2::P2Y12 receptor inhibitor}} should be given as early as possible or at time if primary PCl to pts with STEMI ({{c3::ticagrelor}} or {{c3::clopidogrel}} can be loaded , {{c3::prasugrel}} only in cath lab) 
{{c4::Ticagrelor }} is probably the favorite
