How do SVR and afterload change during hypovolemic shock?

{{c1::Increased}}
Extra
- The drop in Effective Circulating Volume in the circulation is detected which leads to increased SNS activity, driving constriction of arterioles in the vasculature in an attempt to return BP to normal (increasing SVR)

- because there is increased SNS activity, there will also be an increase in pulmonary vascular resistance (some alpha-1 receptors in pulmonary vessels)
