Myocardial infarct with occlusion of the {{c1::right}} coronary artery may present with bradycardia and/or heart block

* the RCA usually supplies blood to the SA and AV nodes, thus bradyarrhythmias and heart block are frequently present
* Marked hypotension is also a characteristic feature of RV MI
- The infarcted right ventricle experiences acute contractile dysfunction and is often unable to pump adequate blood through the pulmonary circulation, resulting in decreased left ventricular preload, reduced cardiac output, and hypotension
