Prolonged exposure to nitrous oxide can result in {{c1::megaloblastic anemia}} from {{c2::bone marrow}} suppression.

Nitrous oxide will inhibit vitamins that are B12 dependent

It will also cause bone marrow depression and neurologic deficiencies.
