Type of Hypersensitivity Disorders:
Mechanism:
→ IgM and IgG react with antigens circulating in the vascular compartment and are then deposited in tissues
→ Involves complement pathway and PMNs
→ Similar to Type II reactions but its antigens are soluble and floating around
→ E.g. SLE, serum sickness, Arthus reaction
