Once B cells are activated by T helper cells, they become either {{c1::plasma cells}} or {{c1::memory B cells}}
Extra
  • B cells reside in lymph nodes or spleen, and pick up antigens, presenting them on MHC class II molecules for T helper cells to recognise them
  • T helper cells recognise the antigen and will be stimulated to produce cytokines that activate the B cell
