Class: atypical antidepressant
Mechanism: dopamine reuptake inhibition with mild norepinephrine reuptake inhibition; also acts on nicotinic and serotonin receptors
Indications: MDD, seasonal affective disorder, smoking cessation. (Off label: sexual dysfunction, ADHD, depression, bipolar, obesity)
Side effects: tachycardia, agitation, diaphoresis, tremor, lightheadedness, blurred vision, rhinitis, pharyngitis, dry mouth, insomnia, headache, weight loss, constipation
