Superior to the gallbladder is an imaginary line known as {{c1::Rouviere's}} sulcus, it separates liver segment {{c2::4}} and runs into the {{c2::umbilical}} fissure

This is name after Henri Rouviere, a French professor of anatomy. His name is also lent to the "node of Rouviere", a lymph node that is the most superior of the lateral group of the retropharyngeal lymph nodes at the base of the skull. He was born in 1876 and died in 1952.
