Text
If the bladder muscle is involved (T2 or greater), bladder cancer can be treated with {{c1::cystectomy}} with {{c2::ileal}} conduit
Extra
Can also use reservoirs or neobladders.
And you should already know that schistosoma causes squamous cell carcinoma of the bladder
Since you remove the bladder, the urine from ureters has to go somewhere, so they use a conduit of ileum. The conduit must go outside body (like a stoma or to the urethral remnant) because urine going straight into the bowel (though it seems super convenient) causes long term problems like cancer
