Bacterial conjunctivitis
  1. Cold compress
  2. Lubricating eye drops
  3. Saline eye washes (eye toilet)
  4. Topical Abx reasonable if marked symptoms
Many cases resolve in 7 days without Rx

Note DDx in children <2yo without conjunctival injection:
Epiphora (blocked lacrimal/tear duct) can cause accumulation of mucous from tear film which can mimic pus
