Whereas the Parotid gland produces serous, and the sublingual gland produces mucinous saliva

Both the submandibular gland and sublingual gland are derivatives of the endoderm.

Parasympathetic innervation for the submandibular gland comes form the chroda tympani of the facial nerve.
