What happens at puberty?

Puberty:
ovarian hormones, estrogens to help duct development. Progesterone, will help
create secretory units/tissues. At the moment they are just fat cells.
- Glucocorticoids & growth hormone= also help with duct development in puberty (but not ovarian hormones)
1st
pregnancy.
- The secretory units of the mammary gland
- If placenta is there it influences the mammary gland in that the fat cells get replaced with functional cells, and then the functional cells proliferate.
