    • share features with spongiotic dermatitis and psoriasis with earlier lesions being more spongiotic and later once more acanthotic
    • Typically mounds of parakeratosis containing neutrophils and sebum are present at the ostia of hair follicles called {{c2::follicular leaping}}. 
    • A superficial perivascular inflammatory infiltrate generally consists of a mixture of {{c2::lymphocytes and neutrophils::what cells?}} are likewise noted.
