Carpometacarpal Joint dorsal ligaments connect:

M2:{{c1::Trapezoid}}, M3:{{c1::Capitate}}, M4 & M5:{{c1::Hamate}}

metacarpals 2 and 3 are almost {{c1::immobile}}, metacarpal 4 is capable of a small degree of {{c1::gliding}}, while metacarpal 5 can {{c1::glide}} to such extent as to produce mild {{c1::flexion}} and {{c1::rotation}}
