Vessels of the small intestine:
- Supplied by {{c1::jejunal and ileal arteries}} which branch from {{c1::the superior mesenteric artery}}
- Blood is drained by the {{c1::superior mesenteric vein}} which drains into {{c1::the hepatic portal vein and then the liver}}
- Lymph is drained to {{c1::mesentaric lymph nodes and (then) to superior mesenteric nodes (which drain to the cisterna chyli then the thoracic duct)}}
