The inguinal canal is anteriorly bound by {{c1::the aponeurosis of the external abdominal oblique}}.
Posteriorly it is bound by the {{c1::transversalis fascia}} which is reinforced {{c1::by aponeuroses of the internal abdominal oblique and transversus abdominis at the conjoint tendon}}.
The floor is composed of the {{c1::inguinal ligament}} and the {{c1::lacuna ligament}} and the {{c1::iliopubic tract}}
The roof is formed by {{c1::an amalgam of the transversalis fascia and the aponeuroses of the external/internal oblique and transversus abdominis mm}}.
