Derivatives of the caudal part of the embryonic foregut are mainly supplied by the celiac artery.
The celiac trunk (artery) supplies derivatives of the caudal part of the embryonic foregut (e.g. the stomach). It arises from the anterior aspect of the aorta just inferior to the aortic hiatus and divides into the left gastric, hepatic, and splenic arteries, which supply most of the foregut derivatives (inferior part of the esophagus, stomach, superior part of the duodenum, liver, pancreas, and biliary apparatus). If you chose C (gastro-omental artery) or E (right gastric artery), you selected a correct answer because they supply some foregut derivatives. D (the celiac artery) is the best answer, however, because it provides the main blood supply to the caudal part of the foregut.
